Analii Stermitz

As a lifelong dancer and teacher of movement, my insight (s) in Argentine Tango stem from asking myself over and over "who am I in this dance?"

Self inquiry and exploration within technique takes time; only then can we have a conversation/dance with another.

Though technique (s) is important and necessary structure, the deeper information lays in our
intuitive network and human processing.

History and culture from the roots of Tango lie in the music that one feels and senses, meaning a scripted sequence provided and learned can damage the authentic internal process.

Dance is not a "forever recital"
Improvisation and natural response should be the goal.
